St. Patrick’s Makeover 2015

St. Patrick’s began 2015 with the front being a shade of pink having gone that colour in summer 2014 when Millisle Village went pink for breast cancer awareness.
But now in conjunction with the Garage, youth community forum we are having a major facelift to raise the profile & colour of our church building. Many people have said they weren’t aware where the Church of Ireland in Millisle was. That will no longer be the case!

No, it still doesn’t look like a traditional church, but then it never did, but it will attract people’s attention rather than looking like an old village hall. In reality we know it won’t be everyone’s ‘cup of tea’ but we do hope that it is a more colourful & uplifting facade for our simple church as we seek to be part of God’s Kingdom in Millisle.

Here are the ‘before’ & ‘during’ and ‘after’ pictures.
